It's funny; every news channel I turn to has a story about Tiger Woods. While surfing the web, I'm pummeled by articles about Tiger's mistresses and their intimate relationship details. Let's get it straight, I don't condone cheating on your wife or cheating period, but seriously when did everyone get a high horse?

You are an Independent Woman. You are strong, intelligent, and self-preserving. You do not need anyone to take care of you, be it family, friends, boyfriend or girlfriend. Along the path of the woman's transformation or growth from traditional "Housewife" to modern Miss Independent USA, something got lost during the process.

Cops Hate Being Videotaped.

If it is one thing cops hate the most, it is being videotaped. Ever since the Rodney King tape highlighted the corrupted cops’ love of excessive force, the camera has been their enemy. During my travels around Connecticut, I shoot a lot of video. Most of the time the video ends up on the cutting board, trashed never to be seen. I shoot everything; you never know when something amazing and/or crazy will happen.

The start of every New Year equals to plenty of need-to-do's, want-to-do's, wishes and other resolutions we push upon ourselves in hopes to be normal. Other than the usual inconsequential and superficial clichéd bullets on the list that we all carry in our forgotten pocket, I pledge to start a crusade against stupid people. I know the consensus among people who use even a bit of their logic and common sense that stupid people simply know no better but I beg to differ.

America Wouldn't Be What It Is Today Without Slavery

"I get a lot of bad comments about what I'm about to say, but I feel like I can trust you guys." Said Nameless Guy. Two guys and I wait for what Nameless Guy is about to say with curious anticipation. "What I'm about to say may seem wrong, but it is what I believe and one thing, don't get angry." Nameless Guy says as he looks at each of us. "America wouldn't be what it is today without slaves. America needed slaves. All great empires needed slaves to grow." The first guy blankly stares at Nameless Guy in disbelief. The second guy's mouth curves into a growl while he unfolds his arms, about to pounce. I just stand there, waiting for Nameless Guy to get his ass severely beaten. Perhaps his assertion would have gone over better with other people, but Nameless Guy (who is white) just told three black guys America wouldn't be great if it weren't for slavery.
